X-Ray Optics Tools

Donnerstag, Mai 8th, 2008

The Center for X-Ray Optics (CXRO) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory works to advance the science and technology of short-wave optical systems with applications using extreme ultraviolet light (EUV), soft x-ray radiation and nanostructure fabrication.
On their website they offer some nice tools with respect to x-ray interaction with matter.

UHV Monster

Unter dem Titel “We need more Space” hat die Firma Omicron in ihrer neuen Ausgabe von Pico ein Foto dieser schnuckelige UHV-Anlage veröffentlicht.
Hat mich schon irgendwie beeindruckt. Die Anlage steht an der “University of Texas at Dallas” und wird von R.M. Wallace betrieben. Natürlich ist sie noch erweiterbar, alles was Dr. Wallace dafür benötigt ist […]

NIST X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy Database

Dienstag, Juni 22nd, 2004

The NIST X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) Database gives easy access to the energies of many photoelectron and Auger-electron spectral lines. Resulting from a critical evaluation of the published literature, the database contains over 22,000 line positions, chemical shifts, doublet splittings, and energy separations of photoelectron and Auger-electron lines. A highly interactive program allows […]

XPS and AES Data Base
