SAOG - 23nd Annual Meeting

On Friday 26 January the 23nd Annual Meeting of the Schweizerische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Oberflächen und Grenzflächen (SAOG) bzw. Groupe Suisse de Travail Surfaces and Interfaces (GSSI) will take place at the University of Fribourg (Institut de Physique Pérolles).
Topic this year is:
Controlled Growth of Surface Nanostructures
The final Program can be found at saog-gssi.org.

The meeting starts at 9:30 with an invited talk of Gabor A. Somorjai from the University of California, Berkeley, he will talk about “Frontiers of surface chemistry: The nanoscience of heterogeneous catalysis and the evolution of molecular surface biology“, so I have to leave at around 7:00 in order to be in time.

also interesting for me:
14.00 invited lecture: Prof. Manfred Kappes, Phys. Chemistry, U Karlsruhe, Germany
Growing carbon nanostructures by ion beam soft landing
