About theWatt:
theWatt is a website for all things about energy and related to energy. Users submit clippings/executive summaries from news articles or stories that they find to be interesting on the net along with a link to the original article. Other users can then post comments about the story and learn about the topic. theWatt can also be used as a blog or a book/movie review website, if you have something to say about energy, let us know by submitting a story (through the Submit Story link). We also publish a podcast (which is amateur radio in mp3 form) that you can download every week. The podcast talks about energy related topics.
theWatt is run by a couple of grad students (at least at the moment) working on energy related projects. We think that there is a need for people to start discussing energy related topics since in the comming years, we feel that energy will impact our lives in a much larger way as government laws/incentives start to influence the use of alternative energies and promote efficiency/conservation. theWatt is also a place to discuss the articles that have been posted.
