From 1976 to 1991 many computer programs were developed in several fields of Chemistry for the students in my courses (General Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Quantum Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Statistical Thermodynamics, History of Chemistry, Chirality, and Chaos in Chemistry). These programs have now been given an attractive front end and many more have been written. They tend to go beyond the teaching aspects and may be helpful in research as well. Some of them, e.g. ChemEdu, also treat phenomena covered in high-school chemistry.
